Resolution - the Power of Innuendo is a photographic exhibition that focuses on the suggestion, as opposed to the spectacle of violence.
Exposed on a daily basis to violent images, the photographic medium offers the viewer a safe space to witness atrocities. The photograph had been used to capture, expose, manipulate and sell violent realities, and in the process desensitise the viewing public.
The relationships created on the exhibition through the juxtaposition of artworks investigates the ease at which images can be manipulated through context. The works selected avoid spectacle in the hopes that innuendo will draw the viewer into a space, where they can engage openly with the content.
